Although we strive to keep our online store user friendly and free of bugs and glitches,
we are aware that some shoppers will experience trouble from time to time, either searching for an item, or trying to
complete a purchase.
Problems encountered during the order process almost always involve either older browsers that cannot
handle certain HTML tags or scripts, or newer browsers with complicated security/cookie settings that end users must customize on their own.

Netscape versions older than 4.79:
Have trouble reading many tags and scripts that are a necessary element in today's e-commerce environment.
Specifically on the 4.7 to 4.76 versions, one of our navigation pages comes up blank. Direct item and ordering pages work. We realize that some users of old browsers are loathe to "trade in" their familiar program for an unknown updated version, but it is essential if you wish to enjoy shopping online.
For those with older PCs and operating systems, Netscape still offers version 4.79, which looks, feels and works just like its immediate predecessors, albeit with NONE of the older versions' bugs.
To the best of our knowledge, our site works trouble free with 4.79. From Netscape's homepage, go to "Downloads". 4.79 is also known as Netscape Communicator.
Netscape versions 6 and 6.1 were loaded with bugs affecting page layout, among other problems. The current version 6.2 fixed most of these, and our site has no known issues with 6.2. Netscape has recently announced a newer version, 7, and we will report here any issues found upon its release.
Internet Explorer 6: Has complicated security settings that are set by default to the middle level. Many people, scared by reports of hackers and identity thieves, reset their browser to the highest security settings, without realizing that this prevents their use of commerce sites, like ours, that use cookies, among other technology, to keep track of active shopping sessions.
With security set to high, you cannot maintain items in your shopping cart. The default medium setting provides more than enough protection for just about everyone.
Under Tools, then Internet Options, Make sure Privacy is set no higher than Medium.
Shopping sessions are timed, and eventually "time out" after a period of inactivity. If you've placed items in your cart and leave your computer for over an hour, your cart contents will be erased. Any activity at all, whether simply pressing "refresh", or navigating between pages, extends your session another hour.
Once in a while, an administrative task, or webserver reboot, can knock out whatever shopping carts were active at that moment, and for such situations, we apologize for any inconvenience.
Account issues: Previous Customers with accounts opened prior to May 3rd, 2002, when we moved our site to a new server platform, are as yet unable to use their accounts for express checkout. We hope to reincorporate those accounts soon, but in the meantime, we encourage our customers to simply open new accounts. The same information can be used if desired.
Shipping issues: Some non UPS options formerly available, are still unusable, like Freight trucking and airport-to-airport. For a very small number of items in our online store that require special non-UPS shipping, either due to corrosive chemical content, or their large dimensions, actual shipping costs cannot yet be calculated online, and final submission of such orders may, depending on your zone, have to finalized either by telephone, email or fax.

Every item we sell is brand new as supplied by the manufacturer or its authorized distributors, unless otherwise stated, eg: a "reconditioned" item. Where indicated, USA designates mfr. USA warrantied goods, or film made in/for USA.
INTL / Import, etc designates international models or film directly imported by us;
non-film items carrying our limited warranties as specified in product information.
Manufacturer rebates do not apply to international models.
Their lower prices are generally well below even post-rebate USA costs.
USA-INTL outfits contain components of both types;
Outfits marked RB have at least one factory reconditioned component.
All items are factory fresh new, unless identified as reconditioned.
EVERY reconditioned item is clearly marked as such.
In the absence of afformentioned codes, wherever warranties apply, see "Product Information".
For international models with different names than their USA equivalents,
the USA model name will be in parentheses.
An * denotes an oversize item, which may require additional charges over calculated S&H estimate,
for methods other than UPS domestic ground.
Sale items are advertised with their corresponding shipping and handling fees.
If you order multiple quantity of a sale item, then the shipping and handling is the same multiple quantity X the advertised shipping and handling fee [eg: if a digital camera is advertised for $179.00 + $14.80 shipping and handling,
and you are ordering 5 units, then your purchase is (5x $179.00) + (5 x $14.80)], and the final shipping fee of your order may need to be corrected to comply with this rule.
