The Bodum Santos Vacuum Coffeemaker produces a full-bodied, flavorful pot coffee while offering a unique way to brew your favorite blend.

It's a great conversation starter when entertaining, and you can brew all types of coffee with delicious results every time.

To use the Bodum Santos Vacuum Coffeemaker, pour your water into the bottom glass jug, and place it on an electric, gas or methylated spirits stove.

For gas stoves, a heat diffuser is recommended.

Insert the filter in the funnel, pulling the chain gently to secure the attached hook onto the edge of the tube.

Fill the glass funnel with your ground coffee, generally one scoop per cup of coffee desired.

Place the glass funnel onto the jug, and bring the water to a boil.

As the water boils, it will appear to defy gravity and rise into the funnel, mixing with the coffee grounds.

Water will remain in the jug at the bottom.

If no water is left, remove the coffeemaker from the heat to prevent the glass from cracking.

Once most of the water is in the top container, remove the coffeemaker from the heat and place it on a surface that is neither cold nor wet.

Now wait and watch the brewed coffee drip into the lower jug.

Once finished, remove the funnel and enjoy!
