AGM Asp-Micro TM160 Short Range Thermal Imaging Monocular

The AGM Asp-Micro TM160 Thermal Monocular has become synonymous with two words: Reliability and Simplicity. The Asp-Micro TM160 is a great entry-level thermal monocular for anyone wanting to experience the capabilities of thermal imaging. Equipped with a 160x120 resolution thermal sensor and a 720 x 540 LCOS display, it’s a great tool for hunters, campers, and general outdoors enthusiasts who want or need to detect the presence of other animals or people in complete darkness. The range of uses includes blood-tracking for hunters which aid in game retrieval, enhancing safety and awareness for hikers and camp sites, and general nighttime curiosity. The Asp-Micro TM160 still comes equipped with many of the most popular software features that experienced thermal users have come to desire, up to 10 hours of battery life from an internal rechargeable battery, Wi-Fi hotspot, AGM Connect app compatibility for exporting and sharing images, and videos, 0.5-2X magnification, 8GB of internal storage with no need for a memory card.

Returns

Returns are incredibly simple. Please log into your account, find your item you wish to return and follow the prompts to make a return. If you do not have an account, click here to find your order and make a return.
You will receive a full refund when you return an item in its original manufacturer’s packaging, undamaged and unmarked. If the item you are returning is priced at less than $35, you will be charged a 15% restocking fee. Please note you will not be refunded any shipping charges. 
You have 30 days to make a return. During the holiday season, from November 1 to December 31, we extend the return window to 60 days. 
If your order has been noticeably damaged in transit, we strongly recommend that you refuse delivery and notify us immediately. Claims for missing items or items damaged in transit must be made within 48 hours of delivery. If there is carrier damage, please contact [email protected] with your order number and a description of the damage.

We do not currently offer exchanges. Please return the item you purchased within 30 days and order what you’d like instead. 
If you ordered a kit, you must return all components and accessories to receive a full refund.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from There is nothing close to it in this price range. Great for the money, but don't expect miracles, as it isn't as good as the $2000+ ones. There is nothing close to it in this price range. This is a sub 100yard system for "Identification". It can go a bit further for "Detection", especially for bigger game. It does great and is very clear, once you go beyond 100yds is where it tapers off quickly. You can easily spot a ground hog at about 70 yards and a deer out to 150yd ish. Pro's= Fast refresh rate let you scan with no lag, easy controls. Camera/video functions. Con's= I would have preferred removable batteries (for various reasons), no carrying case, . I had a $2500 flir setup and it will show out to 200+ yards and a bit clearer.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from AGM 160 If your looking for an entry level hand held thermal device is my be your ticket. Let’s talk pigs and condition is mid summer. ID range is 80-100 yards. Detection range can be 175-200 yards. The conditions play a huge part in the ranges. You’ll have to play with contrast and brightness to optimize the image. Warmer days and cooler night may extend your ID range. Object size also plays a big part in ranges. A rabbit at 100 yards with summer conditions now where everything is hot you may never see it. A horse at 125 yards is a blob with a neck and head. A horse at 300 yards is a dot. But a detected dot. For $325 it’s a great tool when the conditions favor its abilities.

After field testing this unit, I can say that you won't find a better 384 Res thermal spotter with recording capabilities in this price range anywhere. Not to mention the color pallet, hot spot and WiFi options. An awesome price from Focus camera was icing on the cake.
