Pentax PF-80ED 80mm Spotting Scope
An ideal companion for hunters, shooters, birders, and nature enthusiasts, the Pentax PF-80ED 80mm Straight Spotting Scope delivers bright, sharp, and high-contrast images with true-to-life color and impressive clarity even in low or challenging light conditions.
Image performance is enhanced through the use of extra-low dispersion rare earth lanthanum crown glass lens elements in a 3-element 3-group configuration combined with Pentax SMC (Super-Multi-Coating) and BAK4 Porro prisms. These optical features work together to minimize aberrations, maximize light transmission, and deliver superior color fidelity, contrast, and resolution.
The large 80mm objective lens provides exceptional light-gathering capability, ensuring clear and vivid views even at long distances or in dim conditions. This model is supplied without an eyepiece but includes a 1.25-inch collet-style press-fit holder that accepts standard telescope eyepieces. This allows a wide range of magnification options from fixed to zoom while keeping the eyepiece securely aligned for optimal optical performance.
Designed for versatility and user comfort, the straight eyepiece configuration allows fast and intuitive subject tracking, making it ideal for target shooting and birding from hides or vehicles. The rotating tripod mount collar enables precise positioning for any viewing angle.
Built to withstand the elements, the nitrogen-filled magnesium housing is both water and fog-proof, ensuring reliable performance in harsh weather and rapidly changing temperatures. The rugged armored body adds shock resistance and a secure grip even when conditions are wet or while wearing gloves. A built-in retractable lens shade enhances image contrast and clarity by reducing glare and preventing lens flare.

The Pentax XF Zoom Eyepiece 6.5mm to 19.5mm provides a focal-length range that delivers 20x to 60x magnification with an apparent field of view of 42 to 60 degrees and an eye relief of 11mm to 15mm. Its user-friendly rubber eyepiece ring remains comfortable to the touch even in cold weather while minimizing the risk of scratching eyeglasses.

Returns are incredibly simple. Please log into your account, find your item you wish to return and follow the prompts to make a return. If you do not have an account, click here to find your order and make a return.

You will receive a full refund when you return an item in its original manufacturer’s packaging, undamaged and unmarked. If the item you are returning is priced at less than $35, you will be charged a 15% restocking fee. Please note you will not be refunded any shipping charges.

If your order has been noticeably damaged in transit, we strongly recommend that you refuse delivery and notify us immediately. Claims for missing items or items damaged in transit must be made within 48 hours of delivery.
