Alana’s top section features a large rubber grip for comfort alongside the smooth, curved, magnesium alloy mounting plate. Its leg locks feature grippy rubber O-Pads making it comfortable to use in any weather.

Formed from 8 layers of 100 percent pure carbon fiber, Alana is both strong and lightweight, yet can support up to 60 kg or 132 lb of camera gear.
Dual purpose
With 1/4-inch-20 and 3/8-inch-16 threads at both ends, Alana excels as a monopod, and can also be used as a lighting or boom arm.
Dual Thread
Spring-loaded dual thread at the top gives a choice of directly mounting a camera or lens to the 1/4-inch-20 thread, or adding a head or clamp via the 3/8-inch-16 thread.
