Ade Advanced Optics D1 Red Dot Mounting Plate for Glock with Aircraft Grade Aluminum Body (Black)

The factory rear sight dovetail of all non-MOS Glocks, ranging from the Glock 17 to the Glock 43 to the Glock '100,' is replaced by the Ade Advanced Optics D1 Red Dot Mounting Plate in Black. Glocks with an aftermarket slide that has an optic cut won't fit. This Glock plate satisfies the rear sight dovetail specifications of the Taurus TX22 Gen2 (not compatible with the old TX22), GX4, G3C, and G3 with factory steel sights. It does not fit any other Taurus models, including G2, G2C, and G3 without factory steel sights (PT111 or TX22). The Canik non-optics ready pistols TP9 V2, TP9 SA, TP9 DA, TP9 SA MOD 2, TP9 SF, TP9 SFT, and TP9 SFL can also be fitted with this Glock plate. The dimensions of the rear sight dovetails on those Canik pistols are identical to those on Glocks. Optic-ready Caniks such the TP9 Elite Combat, TP9 SFx, TP9 Executive, METE, or Rival versions are not compatible with it. It fits the following: Burris Fastfire, Meopta, Shield, Docter, Insight red dots, Vortex Venom and Viper, RD3-006A (Huracan), RD3-006B (Python), RD3-009 (Crusader), RD3-012 (Delta), RD3-013 (Bertrillium), and RD3-015 (Zantitium). Does not fit shield footprint red dots, holosun, or trijicon rmr.

Design and Installation

It is made using hard anodizing and aircraft-grade aluminum. Hardware and screws are included for installation. Ade Advanced Optics strongly advises either hiring a gunsmith to install this optic plate or doing it only if the user has prior gunsmithing skills. Inadequate torque during installation might cause the screw to come loose, fail to hold zero, damage the rifle or optic, and cause personal injuries. When using an aftermarket slide on a Glock, this plate does not fit. It firmly fastens to your gun for reliable operation in combat scenarios. The Picatinny mount that comes with the red dot sight is replaced.
