The Aputure Amaran COB 200x S Point Source LED is a 200W bi-color Bowens Mount daylight. Perfect for creators and videographers who are always on their toes, this daylight features a new chipset design that delivers superior color quality.

Improved Spectral Reproduction

The COB 200x S is equipped with a new dual-blue LED chipset design that delivers ultra-high spectral reproduction of 90 SSI (Tungsten) and 89 SSI (D56) which is a whopping 18.6 percent increase compared to its predecessor. This increases the CRI to 95, TLCI to 98, TM-30 to 97, and TM-30 RG to 101.

Versatile Use with a Range of Modifiers

As versatile as it gets, the COB 200x S has a full-size universal Bowens Mount that makes it compatible with a wide range of modifiers which includes the Light Dome SE, Light Dome Mini II, and Aputure Lantern to name a few. To add to the list, the light comes with an integrated umbrella mount to broaden its compatibility.

All-In-One Built

Featuring an all-in-one built design when paired with the matching Hyper Reflector, it delivers 45400+ lux at 1 meter. Seamlessly blending into its body is an LCD screen and a control knob interface that provides the ability to adjust the light in increments of 1 percent. It even lets you tune the light from 2700K to 6500K.

Lighting Effects

The COB 200x S employs the integrated Sidus Mesh technology that lets the user control it wirelessly by using the Sidus Link App. This lets the user choose from a range of 9 lighting effects namely Paparazzi, Fireworks, Lightning, Faulty Bulb, TV, Pulse, Strobe, Explosion, and Fire amongst other controls.

Power Supply

The light can be powered with the AC power supply that accompanies it. However, it can also use two Gold or V-mount batteries with the Aputure 2-Bay Battery Power Station (sold separately) for the same.
