Athlon Optics Midas TAC HD 6-24x50 APRS3 FFP MIL Reticle Precise Long Range Riflescope

The Athlon Optics Midas TAC HD 6-24x50 APRS3 FFP MIL Reticle Riflescope is loaded with HD Glass, Fully Multi-Coated lenses to enhance target appearance at all distances, a hard Zero Stop for a repeatable return to zero, and a capped Windage Turret to prevent accidental adjustments. Add in the First Focal plane and a Ranging Reticle, housed in a 30mm Aircraft grade Aluminum tube. This is not just another option, but the solution.

Athlon APRS3 FFP MIL Reticle

APRS3 FFP MIL reticle is designed for precision rifle series competition and any other long-range shooting applications with accurate ranging capability. It can help you quickly determine distance, holdover positions, and windage corrections. The unique design of fine 0.2 mil mark increments from center to 6 mils to both left and right helps the shooter set a quick windage holdover position after he or she dialed in elevation on their targets. The 0.05 mil floating center dot draws a shooter’s vision right on target enabling him or her to engage a small target at a long distance with little to no view obstruction.

Returns

Returns are incredibly simple. Please log into your account, find your item you wish to return and follow the prompts to make a return. If you do not have an account, click here to find your order and make a return.
You will receive a full refund when you return an item in its original manufacturer’s packaging, undamaged and unmarked. If the item you are returning is priced at less than $35, you will be charged a 15% restocking fee. Please note you will not be refunded any shipping charges. 
You have 30 days to make a return. During the holiday season, from November 1 to December 31, we extend the return window to 60 days. 
If your order has been noticeably damaged in transit, we strongly recommend that you refuse delivery and notify us immediately. Claims for missing items or items damaged in transit must be made within 48 hours of delivery. If there is carrier damage, please contact support@focuscamera.com with your order number and a description of the damage.

We do not currently offer exchanges. Please return the item you purchased within 30 days and order what you’d like instead.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very good scope for the money Scope performs very well for the price point. Good glass and turrets. You can definitely buy better scopes, but if you need a good mid priced scope that punches way above its price point, this is a perfect option. Perfect for 600 yards or less.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nearly unbeatable in it's price range. In keeping with the rest of Athlon's scopes, this thing is pretty untouchable for the price, and I'm talking regular street price, not expertvoice price. Tracking is literally perfect (as far as I can measure), reticle is very well designed, the glass only shows it's flaws when put directly next to glass costing three times as much, and my experience with Athlon scopes has been that they are VERY durable. The turrets have great feel and are easy to use as well. You really can't go wrong with it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Value for Precision Rimfire Shooters First, the good: -Excellent glass clarity and brightness. Scope is on a Base-class NRL22 rifle setup, and I can easily spot bullet travel and misses at 100yds and greater. -Turrets are tactile and audible, and adjusting the zero stop is easy enough. -APRS3 reticle is super easy to use and not cluttered. Plenty of information for ranging and windage. Reticle etching is a little on the thin side, but does not detract from utility. -Fit and finish are exceptional at this price. Feels like a solidly-built, professional-quality piece of kit. -Parallax adjustment markings are pretty spot on, and the control is nice and smooth. Plus, it can be adjusted all the way down to 10yds! The bad: -The eyebox is very tight. You really have to be in just the right position to use this scope effectively. Not forgiving at all, especially above 16X. That being said, when you're in the eyebox the view is exceptionally clear with next to no CA. -Small(er) field of view than most other scopes in this category. May or may not be an issue depending on your use case. Overall, this is an excellent scope for the money. For precision rimfire, the glass will do everything you need it to do, and the reticle is very nice. I'd recommend this scope in a heartbeat.
