Quiet and Compact
The Blackmagic Cloud Store Max models feature a portable rack-mount design that's both compact and whisper-quiet. Sporting a full rack-width build, the Blackmagic Cloud Store Max model is equipped with 12 flash memory cards, a rapid 100G Ethernet connection, and 4 x 10G Ethernet connections. For swift file access, the USB-C port doubles as a network connection when plugged into your computer. Additionally, a monitoring video output provides a live graphic display of the storage status. An IEC power socket is included for AC power connection, supporting all international AC voltages for global use. Furthermore, a separate broadcast XLR 12V DC power input ensures redundancy. The USB-C port supports Ethernet for quick file access, and also serves for settings configuration. The 100G Ethernet port allows for expanded access by connecting to high-speed Ethernet switches, while the flexible QSFP socket enables connection via copper cables or longer optical fiber cables. With 4 x 10G Ethernet ports, high-speed computers can be directly connected, allowing for direct connection to 4 separate edit workstations. The additional SDI monitoring output on the Blackmagic Cloud Store Max mirrors the HDMI output, facilitating the use of SDI monitors such as SmartView 4K in broadcast trucks or portable racks. The HDMI monitor output provides real-time status updates of the Cloud Store, compatible with standard TVs or monitors, displaying a storage map, speed graphs, sync status, active users, and power status.Top of Form

This configuration guarantees sufficient speed to accommodate numerous users simultaneously, making it ideal for large banks of HyperDeck recorders and multiple editing workstations operating concurrently.Top of Form
10G Speed
With very high speed 10G and 100G Ethernet connections, Blackmagic Cloud Store is very fast. The internal memory core has been designed to saturate the 10G Ethernet ports to their theoretical maximum speed, even with multiple users connected. It’s so fast, most computers cannot keep up. Plus file access is very low latency, so responsiveness is fast. That’s possible because of the parallel processing used by the memory core. Even at maximum speed, the Blackmagic Cloud Store is extremely quiet with very little cooling fan noise. Even when editing large 12K digital film RAW files. It’s so fast, multicam editing is very smooth, even with dozens of connected editing workstations.
