If you’re looking to work on a large broadcast project, the AV Matrix MMV1630 Compact 1RU 3G-SDI 16-Channel Multiviewer and Switcher is a great solution to consider. Fairly compact in size, it supports two modes - a 16x16 SDI matrix switcher and 16-channel SDI multiviewer mode. It automatically detects the type of input signal, be it SD, HD or 3G-SDI. You can select the video format of multiview output out of nine formats - from 720p to 1080p. In addition to this, this device also features 20 standard layouts with 16/12/11/10/9/8/6/4 as presets. It even lets you use a shortcut key to SOLO any input signal in full screen. This AV Matrix multiviewer and switcher also supports audio meter, UMD, signal status, and time code overlay. All of its functions are easy and quick to control via the PC software as well as front-panel buttons and knob.
