Nikon Z f Mirrorless Camera with 40mm f/2 (SE) Lens

The autofocus system of the Nikon Z f Mirrorless Camera, much like the Z 9 and Z 8, is able to recognize a wide range of common subjects, such as people, animals, vehicles, trains, and aircrafts. With its Deep Learning technology, it can provide the exact focus and tracking for each of them.
Eye Detection AF
The Z f has the ability to focus right on the eyes of people, pets, and bird, even when they’re a great distance from the frame. This feature has been introduced to manual focus lenses too, and automatically magnifies the area around the eyes and quickly attaining sharp focus.
High-Speed Capture
With the Z f’s mechanical shutter, you can take continuous shots of 14 fps, which has been tested to 200,000 cycles. You can also activate C30+ for 30 fps speed with the silent electronic shutter.
Record Before Capturing
You can record moments before pressing the shutter release button up to 30 fps to not miss any great shots.
Widest ISO Range
ISO 100-64,000 for stills with low noise across the entire range. ISO 100-51,200 for video.
Lowest AF Detection
The Z f has lowered the AF detection to -10 EV, the lowest of the Z series. You can now detect faces in extreme darkness.
HEIF Image Format
Tonal gradation got more richer than JPEG with increased luminance and similar file size. Perfect for high-quality stills and 4K HLG time-lapse in-camera videos.
5-Axis VR Image Stabilization
Make your shutter speed an impressive 8.0 stops slower and avoid image blur.
Stabilization Milestone
The Z f becomes the world’s first camera to apply stabilization around the active focus point, wherever it is in the frame, giving precise correction at the exact point you need it.
New Picture Controls
Shift between express composition, patterns, light and shadows in their most natural form with the flick of a switch. Gain extra controls over your stills and videos with the new Flat and Deep Tone Monochrome Picture Controls.
96MP UHD Stills
Create the highest resolution, lowest noise, and lowest false color (moiré) still images that a Nikon camera has ever produced with the Pixel Shift Shooting feature. It is important to note that an NX studio is required to combine 32-image sequence into one 96MP image.
Make Beautiful Adjustments
Touch up your photos with Skin Softening, and adjust the brightness and hue of skin tones while retaining the maximum detail with the new Rich Tone Portrait color profile and other features within the camera.
Capture Ultra-Sharp Detail
Capture 4K/30p ultra-sharp detail from the sensor’s 6K image data for footage that surpasses the standard 4K UHD.
Smooth Slow Motion
Get up to 4K/60p and 1080/120p of smooth slow motion sequences, adding a regal touch to your videos. Get 4K/60p in DX-Crop Mode.
Record Non-Stop for Over 2 Hours
Now record videos up to 125 minutes long directly into the memory card without external support.
Enhance Your Content
Add exceptional quality of full-frame footage to your content with the front-facing screen. Easily record videos with the touch controls.
Shutter-Priority Exposure
The Z f can record with a fixed shutter speed and make smooth adjustments to ISO and aperture so that brightness will remain even, with the new Shutter-Priority Exposure Mode.
Stabilize Images with the 5-Axis Sensor-Shift
Get smooth handheld shots and camera movements with the 5-Axis Sensor-Shift, and gain extra stability with the Electronic VR.
Make Finer Adjustments
ISO can be adjusted in fine increments of 1/6 EV to get smooth transitions from light to dark areas. Shutter speed can be adjusted to 1/4 second.
Feel the Authenticity
Enjoy not just the images, but the tactile knurling of the brass dials to the extremely satisfying click of the mechanical shutter release button, along with the beautiful appearance of the Z f.
Full-Frame Lens Delivering Peak Performance
The NIKKOR Z lineup continues to give high-quality performances, starting from the f/2.8 and f.4 zooms to the lightweight and fast prime lenses.
