Constant f/2.8 large aperture with 11-blade circular diaphragm provides smooth defocusing to achieve a beautiful bokeh effect.

Lens Construction

The LUMIX S PRO 70-200mm f/2.8 features a 22-elements-in-17-group lens design comprising two UED (Ultra Extra-low Dispersion) lenses and three ED (Extra-low Dispersion) lenses. These elements are optimally aligned to effectively suppress chromatic aberrations.

High-Speed, High-Precision Autofocus

The lens also incorporates a double focus system that effectively suppresses fluctuation of aberration even at close distances resulting in edge-to-edge sharpness over zoom range despite its large aperture. The motor can achieve up to 480 fps focus control for high-speed, high-precision AF. A focus clutch mechanism allows for easy AF/MF switching and accurate manual focusing.
