Firmware Update

Listening to creators’ needs, S5II Firmware V3.0 and S5IIX Firmware V2.0 deliver efficiency in both production and post-production workflows, providing important time (and therefore cost) saving benefits. The firmware updates improve the shooting experience and enhance sharing functionality - compatibility with Adobe Camera to Cloud (Frame.io) and Proxy video recording; improved basic performance with improved real-time AF recognition system (animal eye, car, and motorcycle recognition); enhanced E.I.S. performance by adding HIGH mode in the E-stabilization (video) and a perspective distortion correction.

Speedy, Accurate Phase Hybrid Autofocus

With advanced subject detection and metering technologies, the LUMIX S5IIX lets you capture the target subject in focus even in poor lighting conditions. Once locked on the subject, the AF keeps tracking despite multiple moving objects.

Active Image Stabilization

The newly developed Active I.S. of the Panasonic LUMIXS5IIX supports stable shots when walking. This feature further enhances image stabilization while recording videos.

Excellent Video Functionality

14 plus stop V-Log or V-Gamut capture achieves a high dynamic range and broad colors, plus a REAL TIME LUT function enables in-camera photo and video color grading, with LUT6K 30p Open Gate unlimited recording.

Endless Recording

Returns

Returns are incredibly simple. Please log into your account, find your item you wish to return and follow the prompts to make a return. If you do not have an account, click here to find your order and make a return.

You will receive a full refund when you return an item in its original manufacturer’s packaging, undamaged and unmarked. If the item you are returning is priced at less than $35, you will be charged a 15% restocking fee. Please note you will not be refunded any shipping charges.

You have 30 days to make a return. During the holiday season, from November 1 to December 31, we extend the return window to 60 days.

If your order has been noticeably damaged in transit, we strongly recommend that you refuse delivery and notify us immediately. Claims for missing items or items damaged in transit must be made within 48 hours of delivery. If there is carrier damage, please contact support@focuscamera.com with your order number and a description of the damage.

I recently picked up the Panasonic Lumix S5IIX, and after spending some time with it, I can confidently say—this camera is an absolute powerhouse. Panasonic has outdone itself with this release, blending pro-level features, stellar image quality, and unmatched versatility into a compact and well-built body. Whether you're a filmmaker, content creator, or hybrid shooter, the S5IIX delivers in every way possible. Design & Build Quality The moment you pick up the S5IIX, you can feel its solid construction. It maintains the compact, ergonomic design of the original S5 but with a sleek, all-black finish that screams “stealth mode.” The grip is deep and comfortable, making handheld shooting effortless. The button layout is intuitive, and having a fully articulating touchscreen is a huge plus for vlogging and tricky shooting angles. I bought my first S5IIX camera body shortly after release August 2023, then purchased two more by November of 2023 and have been using one for pro photo and the other two for pro video. They absolutely shine for video and also take beautiful photos with a little tuning and occasional wrestling with autofocus. There is no camera at this price point that can compare in my opinion.

I used this at a golf tournament and it worked so well even with the rapidly changing lighting. The autofocus is spot on and fairly fast too. The video function is also easy to use and is very high quality. Typically, cameras are good at one or the other, but this one nails both video and still-photos. It’s the perfect siize, very lightweight and dynamic. I would HIGHLY recommend purchasing this camera for all your needs!
