The Pansonic LUMIX S5II offers accurate phase hybrid autofocus. It features a 24.2-megapixel 35mm full-frame CMOS sensor that complies with PDAF (Phase Detection Auto-Focus) with Active I.S. This advanced feature supports walking shots. The high-resolution imaging engine allows for natural description and approximately 2 times speedy signal processing for high bit-rate video recording. The S Series 50mm F1.8 L-mount lens is designed to create beautiful bokeh letting you capture unique landscapes and facial expressions. Firmware Update
Listening to creators’ needs, S5II Firmware V3.0 and S5IIX Firmware V2.0 deliver efficiency in both production and post-production workflows, providing important time (and therefore cost) saving benefits. The firmware updates improve the shooting experience and enhance sharing functionality - compatibility with Adobe Camera to Cloud (Frame.io) and Proxy video recording; improved basic performance with improved real-time AF recognition system (animal eye, car, and motorcycle recognition); enhanced E.I.S. performance by adding HIGH mode in the E-stabilization (video) and a perspective distortion correction.
