Ricoh Imaging proudly introduces the PENTAX AF180FG Auto Flash in black. This tiny, portable flash is compatible with both PENTAX DSLRs and RICOH GR Series digital cameras. It has a maximum guide number of 18 at ISO 100 meters. Made for the outdoors, it has 18 seals in critical body areas, including the hot shoe, making it a very reliable dustproof and weather-resistant attachment. When combined with a dustproof, weather-resistant DSLR camera body and lens, it provides reliable performance even in extreme outdoor situations like rain, mist, and dust. The AF180FG has bounce-flash capabilities and a flash head that can be adjusted vertically to 10 various angles (up to 135 degrees). Its simple operating system allows the user to start utilizing the flash immediately by turning the discharge mode dial, which also serves as the On and Off switch. Aside from the Off position, this dial offers four discharge modes. The AF180FG also has a built-in wide-angle panel that pulls out to provide a 20mm field of view (in 35mm format).

Bounce Flash Function
For bounce-flash operation, the flash head can be adjusted vertically at ten different angles (minus 10, 0, 30, 45, 60, 75, 90, 105, 120, and 135 degrees). The user can lessen the subject's shadow by bouncing the flash discharge off the ceiling or wall while interior shooting, resulting in more natural, lifelike portraiture.
Easy Operation
The AF180FG has a simple operating system that allows the user to start flash photography immediately by turning the discharge mode dial, which also serves as the On and Off switch. In addition to the OFF position, this dial offers four discharge modes: P-TTL auto flash with leading curtain synchronization and P-TTL auto flash with trailing-curtain synchronization, in which the camera's light sensor detects the flash's preliminary emission and accurately controls the main discharge level for proper exposure, and manual flash with full discharge and manual flash with 1/4-level discharge. It also includes an integrated wide-angle panel that pulls out to provide a 20mm field of vision (in 35mm format).
