Every Profoto Softbox features a recessed front where a softgrid can be attached. The light spread is decreased to 50 degrees with the Profoto 1 x 4-Feet Softgrid. To put it another way, it produces more focused light and reduces spill light significantly, giving you even more control over how the light is shaped. A softgrid can assist in increasing contrast in your photos, giving them a more dramatic and moody appearance by reducing the spread of light. It is particularly helpful for minimizing spill light when you need to prevent lighting the surrounding areas or the background. The Profoto Softbox line is compatible with the softgrid, which has Hook-and-loop Fastener attachments for quick and easy setup. The RFi, OCF, and Clic Softbox ranges are not compatible with the softgrid.

Profoto 1 x 4-Feet Strip Mask with Hook-and-loop Fastener Attachments for Easy Setup

A stripmask can be attached to the recessed front of any Profoto Strip Softbox. The highlight is made even narrower by the Profoto 1 x 4-Feet Strip Mask. Strip masks are ideal for more exact lighting control; they work well for rim lighting or bringing attention to particular parts of your subject. It is constructed of premium fabrics and features Hook-and-loop Fastener attachments for a quick and simple setup. It is not compatible with the RFi, OCF, or Clic Softbox ranges, but it works with the Profoto Softbox Strip.
