A softgrid can assist in increasing contrast in your photos, giving them a more dramatic and moody appearance by reducing the spread of light. It is particularly helpful for minimizing spill light when you need to prevent lighting the surrounding areas or the background. The Profoto Softbox line is compatible with the softgrid, which has Hook-and-loop Fastener attachments for quick and easy setup. The RFi, OCF, and Clic Softbox ranges are not compatible with the softgrid.

A stripmask can be attached to the recessed front of any Profoto Strip Softbox. The highlight is made even narrower by the Profoto 1 x 4-Feet Strip Mask. Strip masks are ideal for more exact lighting control; they work well for rim lighting or bringing attention to particular parts of your subject. It is constructed of premium fabrics and features Hook-and-loop Fastener attachments for a quick and simple setup. It is not compatible with the RFi, OCF, or Clic Softbox ranges, but it works with the Profoto Softbox Strip.

It features velcro attachments and is surprisingly easy to install and remove as you hustle through the day amidst different setups. It is to be noted that all Profoto softboxes come with 1 f-stop diffuser.

The Profoto Softbox 1x4-Feet Diffuser Kit 1.5 f-stop enhances lighting, minimizing shadows for a natural appearance. It doubles as a neutral density filter for low apertures or long exposures. Ranging from 0.5 to 1.5 f-stops, these diffusers offer varying softness levels. Easy-to-install Velcro attachments facilitate swift setup changes, and it includes a labeled soft pouch. Each Profoto Softbox includes a 1.5 f-stop Diffusor. However, they are not compatible with RFi, OCF, and Clic Softbox ranges.
