Every Profoto Softbox features a recessed front where a softgrid can be attached. The light spread is reduced to 50 degrees using the Profoto Softgrid 3x4 Feet Rectangular. Simply put, it produces more focused light and reduces spill light significantly, giving you even more control over how the light is shaped. For quick and simple setup, hook-and-loop attachments are included. A softgrid can assist in increasing contrast in your photos, giving them a more dramatic and moody appearance by reducing the dispersion of light. Reducing undesired spill light comes in particularly handy when you don't want to light up the surrounding area or the background. The Softgrid comes in a labeled soft pouch and is constructed from high-quality textiles. It is compatible with the Profoto Softbox line and incompatible with the RFi, OCF, and Clic Softbox models.
