Besides, you can finish mounting with only one hand. The upgraded side loading plate has a safety pin and flip lock. The safety pin is designed to help prevent the equipment from accidentally falling off when the equipment mounted on the plate is moved back and forth. The huge flip lock design allows operating with less effort. Besides, compared with a round twist lock, this flip lock won’t ‘fight’ with the handle after mounting your camera on the head. Use the Allen key to adjust the tightness of the flip lock fine.
