Vortex Solo 8x25 Waterproof Monocular

The Vortex Solo 8x25 Monocular is built to be kept close at hand, giving you a consistent high-quality resolution in a highly portable package. The Solo sports fully multicoated optics that increase light transmission in the roof prism design. Housed in a robust rubber-armored exterior, this monocular is a great choice for any situation rain or shine. Optical Features

The Vortex Solo 8x25 Monocular features fully multi-coated lenses which increase light transmission with multiple anti-reflective coatings on all air-to-glass surfaces. The dedicated roof prism houses an objective lens with a diameter of 25mm and can magnify up to 8 times the normal view. With a linear field of view of 378-feet at 1000 yards and an angular field of view of 7.2-degree, this versatile monocular will help you see further than you ever thought you could.

Construction

Don't worry about the weather because the 8x25 monocular is waterproof and prevents fogging so you can see at longer distances for longer periods. The monocular is sealed with O-rings to prevent moisture, dust, and debris from getting inside the barrel. The barrels are filled with Nitrogen gas to inhibit internal fogging and other obstructions. The Vortex monocular features a secure, non-slip ergonomic design thanks to the tough rubber-armored exterior to provide maximum comfort. The Solo 8x25 Monocular features an adjustable eyecup that you can twist up and down for a precise setting that maximizes your comfort.

Returns

Returns are incredibly simple. Please log into your account, find your item you wish to return and follow the prompts to make a return. If you do not have an account, click here to find your order and make a return.
You will receive a full refund when you return an item in its original manufacturer’s packaging, undamaged and unmarked. If the item you are returning is priced at less than $35, you will be charged a 15% restocking fee. Please note you will not be refunded any shipping charges. 
You have 30 days to make a return. During the holiday season, from November 1 to December 31, we extend the return window to 60 days. 
If your order has been noticeably damaged in transit, we strongly recommend that you refuse delivery and notify us immediately. Claims for missing items or items damaged in transit must be made within 48 hours of delivery. If there is carrier damage, please contact support@focuscamera.com with your order number and a description of the damage.

We do not currently offer exchanges. Please return the item you purchased within 30 days and order what you’d like instead. 
If you ordered a kit, you must return all components and accessories to receive a full refund. 
If you ordered a product that included a free item, you must include the free item with your return. If not, your return will not be accepted and you will not receive a full refund. 
We currently only offer camera repairs at our Brooklyn store. The item must be dropped off and collected in person as we do not accept shipped items for repair. For more information, please call our Brooklyn store on 1.718.431.7900.

For someone with poor vision, it’s great for quick identification while hunting. Very well built, nice tight focus, and adjustable eyecup is great for when you wear sunglasses Kinda in a class of its own when you consider price warranty and construction. Might need one on a duck call lanyard as well. All in all very happy with it. Good

I have used it so far to observe deer and turkeys in my yard, but will definitely be using it for hunting this year. Has a nice, clear image for the price, and will easily pack in a pocket.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great little monocular I would give it a 10 if the eye relief was a little more generous, it is quite unforgiving. You have to put your eyeball right up to this thing. I feel like my eye is only half an inch or less away from the ocular lens. Glass quality is clear and the field of view is good. Glad I bought this. It makes a great companion for a hiking trip, recce mission, or just having in your car or at the range to see a little further out.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for the price! Overall I am pretty satisfied with this monocular thus far. The glass is clear like you’d expect from Vortex and it fits well in the hand. It had worked very well the past few days hunting in the South Eastern United States. This will for sure be my go to when I’m in the deer stand but if I went anywhere more open I’d probably want something with a little more range. I love it and I think you did good Vortex, can’t wait to try out the RECCE Pro next.
