In order to further improve image quality, the lens features Sony’s Nano anti-reflective coating that reduces the amount of light that’s reflected by the lens and helps reduce lens flare and image ghosting. This lens also has a constant f/2.8 maximum aperture that allows you to more easily maintain exposure settings while changing the zoom range.

Shooting in low-light situations is always challenging, but the lens’ constant f/2.8 maximum aperture ensures that you’ll get great looking pictures in any light and at any zoom range.
