Viper 6.5-20x50 PA Riflescope’s optical design features lenses that are fully multi-coated with XR Plus anti-reflection coatings. These coatings provide maximum light transmission and minimum glare on all air-to-glass surfaces. It also includes an XD glass that provides superior light transmission for sharper, higher color contrast images.

Dead-Hold BDC Reticle

The Viper’s Dead-Hold BDC glass-etched reticle is placed in the second focal plane that results in images which always maintain the same ideally-sized appearance. This reticle is suitable for hunting or other types of shooting where aiming at targets across very long distances is required. The reticle features MOA-based subtension lines as a reference for bullet-drop as well as bullet drift in windy conditions. It has a max windage adjustment level of 65 MOA and a max elevation adjustment level of 65 MOA.

Internal Mechanisms

Vortex Viper 6.5-20x50 PA’s tall capped tactical turrets offer précised control for fast and accurate elevation and wind adjustments. Integrated locking mechanism prevents accidental adjustments. The Precision-Force Spring System ensures maximum repeatability and ease of adjustment in the erector-spring system. Also, the Precision-Glide Erector System ensures components of the zoom lens mechanism glide smoothly and cleanly through the entire magnification range.

Durable Construction

All the optical pieces of Vortex Viper are carefully aligned inside a single-piece tube measuring 30mm in diameter. Single-piece tube design allows for maximum alignment for improved accuracy and optical performance. The tube is constructed from aircraft-grade aluminum for durability. O-ring seals and Argon gas purging provide a complete waterproof, dustproof, and shockproof body. Plus, the exposed lenses are come with an ArmorTek tough hard-coat anodized coating on the surface that helps protect your scope against bumps, bruises, scratches, oil, and dirt.
