Optical Features

The Vortex Solo 8x36 Monocular features fully multi-coated lenses which increase light transmission with multiple anti-reflective coatings on all air-to-glass surfaces. The dedicated roof prism houses an objective lens with a diameter of 36mm and can magnify up to 8 times the normal view. With a linear field of view of 393ft @ 1000 yards and an angular field of view of 7.5°, this versatile monocular will help you see further than you ever thought you could.

Construction

Don't worry about the weather because the 8x36 monocular is waterproof and prevents fogging so you can see at longer distances for longer periods of time. The monocular is sealed with O-rings to prevent moisture, dust, and debris from getting inside the barrel. The barrels are filled with Nitrogen gas to inhibit internal fogging and other obstructions.
