Vortex Recce Pro HD 8x32 Monocular (Ranging MRAD Reticle)

Optical Features

The Vortex Recce Pro HD 8x32 Monocular features Vortex’s XR fully multi-coated high definition (HD) extra-low dispersion lenses which increase light transmission with multiple anti-reflective coatings on all air-to-glass surfaces. The objective lens has a diameter of 32mm and can magnify up to 8 times the normal view. With a linear field of view of 400-feet at 1000 yards and an angular field of view of 7.6 degrees, this versatile monocular will help you see further than you ever thought you could.

Ranging MRAD Reticle

The Recce Pro HD contains the Ranging MRAD Reticle that is designed for quick calculation to maximize long-distance ranging abilities. It was marked using Mil-Dot based subtension lines for ranging, holdover, and wind corrections; the ultra-precision laser etching on the glass reticle is kept to the tightest tolerances. Pre-ranged 200, 300, 400, 500, and 600 meter standard man-sized silhouettes give you a reference point to more accurately track your subjects and measure your range.

Construction

Don't worry about the weather because the 8x32 monocular is waterproof and prevents fogging so you can see at longer distances for longer periods of time. The monocular is sealed with O-rings to prevent moisture, dust, and debris from getting inside the barrel. The barrels are filled with argon gas to inhibit internal fogging and other obstructions. ArmorTek coating creates and ultra-hard, scratch resistant surface that protects the exterior lenses. The Vortex monocular features a secure, non-slip ergonomic design thanks to the tough rubber armored exterior to provide maximum comfort.

Returns

Returns are incredibly simple. Please log into your account, find your item you wish to return and follow the prompts to make a return. If you do not have an account, click here to find your order and make a return.
You will receive a full refund when you return an item in its original manufacturer’s packaging, undamaged and unmarked. If the item you are returning is priced at less than $35, you will be charged a 15% restocking fee. Please note you will not be refunded any shipping charges. 
You have 30 days to make a return. During the holiday season, from November 1 to December 31, we extend the return window to 60 days. 
If your order has been noticeably damaged in transit, we strongly recommend that you refuse delivery and notify us immediately. Claims for missing items or items damaged in transit must be made within 48 hours of delivery. If there is carrier damage, please contact support@focuscamera.com with your order number and a description of the damage.

Grab it when you can! This is good for beginner and expert as the mrad is easy to use.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from RECCE Pro HD I never give anything 5 stars or a 10 out of 10. Always room to improve. Besides that this is a great tool to have in your gear. I'm not a bino fan so this is a great way to get awawy form having those. The glass is really crisp and clear. Having the ranging silhouettes is amazing and works great if you can judge the height of what you are looking at. The one thing I am not that happy about is the rear rubber eye guard. You can fold it down but in time I believe it will tear.

Big fan of the fact it is made in Japan, so I know it's from one of the big two factories there. Ease of manipulation with one or both hands and it's nice the covers came with it. The only hiccup can be placement of the eye shroud, but that will be mitigated with specific use and setup.
