Westcott FJ-XR Wireless Receiver

The FJ-XR Wireless Receiver connects to any strobe or flash with a 3.5mm sync port for basic communication with the FJ-X2m Wireless Trigger. Designed with a built-in, rechargeable lithium-ion battery, the FJ-XR is equipped with a simple 3-button design, easy-to-navigate user interface, and hinged 3.5mm sync plug. Simply select the desired group and channel to extend your lighting setup.

Features

This receiver allows FJ400 users to add additional strobe or flash units to their setup with simple communication between the FJ-X2m and FJ-XR Receiver. It connects through the same 2.4GHz frequency as the FJ-X2m and plugs directly into the 3.5mm sync port of compatible strobe or flash units. Once equipped, simply select the desired channel/group and start shooting.

The Westcott FJ400 Strobe is the first 400Ws portable AC/DC strobe with a recycle time of less than a second at full power and a remarkable 480+ full-power flashes per charge. Throughout its entire 9-stop output range, the portable FJ400 provides unmatched performance with the most accurate color temperature. The FJ400 offers Manual and TTL Flash Modes, High-Speed Sync (HSS) up to 1/8000s, Freeze Sync up to 1/19000s, Continuous Capture up to 20 fps, Mask Function, Delay Function, Automatic Memory Recall, Rear Curtain Sync, compatibility with Canon RT flash, group and channel assignment, Group Exposure Compensation, and many other features. It also has an intuitive menu system and LCD color display. The USB-C cable that comes with the strobe can be used to upgrade its firmware.

Color Temperature Consistency at Every Power Level

With flash increments of either 0.1 or 1.0 stops, the FJ400 maintains a color temperature constancy of 5500K (150K) throughout its entire 9-stop output range. It has a 20W 5600K LED modeling lamp with separate output control and auto-adjustment.

Light Modifier Optimization

The expanded flash tube's ideal light output enables filling light modifiers to have a wider, more uniform spread of light. The Bowens S-Type mounting system on the FJ400 makes it simple to use your preferred softbox with it. The FJ400 comes with a Rapid Box Switch Bowens Insert that enables you to link your strobe with any Rapid Box Switch light modulator as well as a Magnetic 5-inch Reflector, Magnetic CCT Gel Set (CTO, 1/2-CTO, Window Green, Diffusion, Gel Frame), and Magnetic CCT Gel Set. Large umbrellas and modifiers can be mounted and positioned securely using the built-in tilter bracket with a tension screw.

For safe operation while in use, the FJ400 strobe has onboard self-monitoring cooling fans and an automatic shutoff mechanism.
