The Aputure Amaran COB 60x S Point Source LED is an ultra-compact 65W bi-color daylight Bowens Mount point-source light with integrated controls, full Bowens Mount versatility, and an upgraded LED chipset for enhanced color quality and spectral reproduction.

All-New Design

Featuring an all-new dual-blue LED chipset design, the COB 60x S has improved spectral continuity to achieve stunning spectral reproduction of an ultra-high SSI (Tungsten) of 90 and SSI (D56) of 87, a 17.5 percent increase in SSI from its predecessor. The enhanced color accuracy of the COB 60x S can also be seen in its increased CRI (96), TLCI (97), TM-30 RF (96), and TM-30 RG (100) values.

Compatibility

Equipped with a full-size universal Bowens Mount, the miniature COB 60x S is compatible with the largest selection of modifiers on the market, including the Light Box 45 x 45, Light Dome SE, Light Dome Mini II, and Aputure Lantern, making it an incredibly versatile multi-tool. For additional versatility, the COB 60x S can also be used with an umbrella with the included Tilting Stand Mount.

Compact Stature

With its small stature as compact as a camera, the COB 60x S contains a powerhouse LED that can output 33,300+ lux at 1 meter when paired with the matching Hyper Reflector (Mini). Its miniature form factor houses an intuitive LCD screen and control knob interface that seamlessly blends into the body of the fixture, with the ability to adjust the light in 1 percent increments and toggle through intensity presets with ease.

Sidus Mesh Technology

Using its integrated Sidus Mesh technology, the COB 60x S can be controlled wirelessly via the Sidus Link app, granting it access to an extended range of intuitive controls as well as 9 lighting effects, including Paparazzi, Fireworks, Lightning, Faulty Bulb, TV, Pulse, Strobe, Explosion, and Fire.
