Raising the Bar

The LS 600d uses the same light source as its professional predecessor, and its 600W COB LED makes it one of the brightest point source LEDs on the market. With the hyper-reflector, it can produce up to 8,500+ lux at 3 meters, or up to 29,300+ lux at 3 meters with the F10 Fresnel.

Versatile Bowens Mount

The LS 600d, as a member of the Light Storm family, features an inbuilt Bowens Mount for quick attachment of accessories and modifiers, such as the F10 Fresnel for intense brightness and the Light Dome 150 for outstanding softness.

Slim Control Box

The control box on the LS 600d is substantially lighter than the controller on the LS 600d Pro. The LS 600d control box weighs 3.24kg (7.14 lb), which is nearly half the weight of the 5.8kg (12.79 lb) control box found on the LS 600d Pro. The LS 600d controller retains several of the LS 600d Pro's control methods and functionalities, such as 2.4G Remote Compatibility, DMX512 In and Out, and Sidus Link, while losing approximately half of its weight.

Sidus Link App

The LS 600d is an excellent tool for photographers and video artists that need quick access to high-quality output. Using Sidus Link and DMX512 control to connect the LS 600d into onset processes enables producers a strong fixture that smoothly fits into their existing ecosystems with smooth dimming control, no color shift, and no need for scrims to reduce output.

Curved Yoke

The lamp head of the LS 600d keeps the curved yoke of its older sibling since it employs the same structure as the LS 600d Pro lamp head. When used with bigger light modifiers like the F10 Fresnel, Light Dome 150, or Light OctaDome 120, the LS 600d benefits from a curved yoke that is missing on comparable light fixtures.

From 0 to 100% Dimming

The LS 600d, like the LS 300d II and 300x, can dim as low as 0% in 1% increments, giving filmmakers and photographers far more control than typical fixtures and strobes.

With the Spotlight Mount, Aputure enters into a whole new class of modifiers with the introduction of the world’s first Bowens spotlight mount. Achieve a greater degree of control with the Spotlight Mount’s internal shutter blades for sharp cuts. Acquire pinpoint accuracy when projecting your light with the included 36-degree lens.

Precision Optics

The three lenses for the Spotlight Mount were designed with professionals in mind. In addition to allowing the 120d II to produce 10 times its original output, the high-resolution lenses produce an even beam of light, with minimal light falloff on the edges, while maintaining a shift in color temperature of less than 200 degrees Kelvin.

Minimal Edge Fringing

The Spotlight Mount’s new lens technology minimizes chromatic aberrations around the edge of the illumination circle. Compared to similar ellipsoidal fixtures, the Spotlight Mount significantly decreases its edge color fringing to a mere 1mm at a distance of 5 meters.

Light Shaping Control

Like typical ellipsoidal lights, the Spotlight Mount also offers simple user-interchangeability between Aputure’s lenses, whether you need a wider illumination circle or pinpoint accuracy. Combined with the internal shutters, filmmakers will be able to gain more control of the shape of their light.

Add Flair to Your Set

With the included B-size Gobos, Gobo Holder, and gel frame the Spotlight Mount allows for even further light manipulation, to easily project any shape or color you can think of. The optional removable iris* also allows filmmakers to further hone in the shape and size of the Spotlight Mount’s light output. The Spotlight Mount’s dual slot design allows filmmakers to use both their Gobos and iris simultaneously.

In line with Aputure’s other high-quality lighting modifiers, the Spotlight Mount maintains Aputure’s philosophy of versatility and modularity by utilizing the Bowens mount, for use with our 120d Mark II and 300d lights.

Dual Junior/Baby Mount

The Spotlight Mount is created with rigging in mind. Aputure gave the Spotlight a dual Junior/Baby mount so it can be attached to anything from a C-Stand to a Combo Stand or underslung from a lighting grid.
