The Storm 1200x is a feature-rich 1200W dual-color point source fixture with Aputure's breakthrough Blair LED chipset, a ProLock locking Bowens mount, and advanced dimming technology, making it ideal for a wide range of professional imaging applications, from high-end film productions to small-crew video or photo rates. The Storm 1200x's groundbreaking proprietary Blair chipset provides excellent brightness and color accuracy. It provides a substantial 24000 lux at 3m at 5600K with its inbuilt hyper reflector while maintaining an SSI (P3200) of 87 and an SSI (CIE D5600) of 87 at 3200K and 5600K, respectively. The addition of an indigo diode to this chipset improves the colors of fluorescing materials, creating an image that is lighted more properly to mimic natural daylight and tungsten sources.

With a CCT range of 2500K to 10000K and advanced white-point control with green-magenta color correction (plus-minus G 100 percent entire ASC MITC range), this fixture provides the versatility and color accuracy that professionals require on set. The Storm 1200x uses innovative dimming technology to assure flicker-free, color-accurate functioning during filming, even at its lowest output level of less than 50lux at 1m (5600K). Furthermore, this dimming technology offers consumers an unprecedented 0.1 to 100 percent step-free brightness adjustment. The Storm 1200x, equipped with a newly developed ProLock locking Bowens mount, can handle regular Bowens mount modifiers while keeping an easy coupling method for larger modifiers, reducing the need for rotational adjustments with accessories to reach a secure, visually aligned lock. The Storm 1200x offers easy integration into professional lighting processes at the lamp head and behind the console by supporting a wide range of lighting control protocols such as 16-bit DMX512, LumenRadio CRMX, Art-net and SACN Ethernet, and Sidus Link or Sidus Link Pro app control. With a durable IP65 dust and weather-resistant certification, the Storm 1200x can handle even the most demanding filming settings in bad weather without sacrificing efficiency or dependability.

The Aputure CF12 Bowens Mount Fresnel in Black is compact in size, featuring a 12-inch diameter lens and a versatile spot-flood range of 15 to 45-degree. It is specifically optimized for use with the STORM 1000c and 1200x models. It is also compatible with the LS 1200d Pro, LS 600c Pro II, and LS 600c Pro. 

Dual-Expanding Focusing System

This device significantly enhances the light output of the STORM 1000c and 1200x, achieving up to nine times the brightness of their native outputs. The CF12 Fresnel offers a smooth transition from the center to the edges of the beam, all within a compact and lightweight design, made possible by its dual-expanding focusing system. This innovative system allows for an increase in distance between the rear and front elements through the extension of both ends of the barrel, unlike traditional fresnel accessories that only extend the front.
