The L Series Magic

With the newest EOS R5 Mark II or EOS R1 mirrorless cameras, the new 20mm L-Series hybrid lens has an iris ring for manual iris control in stills and movies. With a Voice Coil Motor (VCM) for back focus and a Nano USM for floating focus, these devices provide silent, independent, or coordinated actuation at high speeds, making them ideal for video. Reliability and dependability are ensured by its weather-resistant structure and L-Series level durability for operation in challenging conditions. It functions similarly to Canon's Cinema lenses and has an iris ring for improved operability when shooting movies. Lens ghosting and flare can be considerably decreased with the use of Air Sphere Coating (ASC) and Subwavelength Structure Coating (SWC). To reduce chromatic aberration, this lens has two UD elements, one Super UD element, and BR optics (Blue Spectrum Refractive Optics). The RF20mm features an 11-blade aperture and a structure with 15 parts in 11 groups. Its maximum magnification is 0.19x, and its minimum focus distance is 7.9 inches (0.2 meters). It has a lens function button that may be programmed by the user. For pre-cut filters, it has an attachable rear filter holder and a 67mm diameter front screw-on filter.
