For even greater accuracy and convenience, especially with busy environments where you need to keep a subject in frame, Face Detection AF and Face Tracking is also available while Manual Focus is set via the focus/zoom ring.

MP4 recording

The VIXIA HF G70 supports MP4 recording, specifically, 4K UHD at 150Mbps 30P/24P, plus Full HD 35Mbps or 17Mbps at 60P/30P/24P.

Professional output, custom picture menu, and audio scene select

A host of output and recording options include Infrared mode, Slow Motion recording in 5x Full HD, Fast Motion recording in 4K/Full HD up to 1200x and an array of Scene Modes. A custom picture menu enables color matching with other Canon cameras while audio scene mode adds sound recording tuned to your environment. Simultaneous backup and relay recording via dual SD card slots is also included.
