The compact and lightweight VIXIA HF G70 offers high-quality 4K UHD video, a Canon 20x optical zoom lens, advanced autofocus, Slow Motion recording in 5x Full HD, Fast Motion recording in 4K/Full HD up to 1200x and HD live streaming with UVC1 via a USB-C connection to a PC or Mac.
Canon 4K sensor
A 4K sensor and DIGIC DV6 image processor deliver crisp, sharp UHD images and an 8-blade iris achieves cinema-style out-of-focus highlights. Frame your shot with the ultra-bright 3.5-inch LCD or use the built-in electronic viewfinder (EVF).
On-Screen Display (OSD) Time Stamp Recording
OSD recording embeds date, time, timecode, and other data into your original camera files effectively time stamping the information into each frame of video, a requirement for legal and law enforcement videographers.
UVC Livestreaming
Stream HD video directly from the camera via UVC to a PC or Mac computer.

Add impact to your films with dynamic wide and close up shots captured with the powerful 20x optical zoom and advanced image stabilization. Customize the camera with five assignable buttons and use the built-in ND filters to adjust exposure for wider apertures or slower shutter speeds.
Fast, precise focusing with face detection
The VIXIA HF G70 features an advanced Hybrid AF system with focusing speed adjustable for either Fast or Smooth AF. Using the ultra-bright 3.5-inch LCD display, set the focus by simply touching the AF point you need. For even greater accuracy and convenience, especially with busy environments where you need to keep a subject in frame, Face Detection AF and Face Tracking is also available while Manual Focus is set via the focus/zoom ring.
MP4 recording
The VIXIA HF G70 supports MP4 recording, specifically, 4K UHD at 150Mbps 30P/24P, plus Full HD 35Mbps or 17Mbps at 60P/30P/24P.
Professional output, custom picture menu, and audio scene select
A host of output and recording options include Infrared mode, Slow Motion recording in 5x Full HD, Fast Motion recording in 4K/Full HD up to 1200x and an array of Scene Modes. A custom picture menu enables color matching with other Canon cameras while audio scene mode adds sound recording tuned to your environment. Simultaneous backup and relay recording via dual SD card slots is also included.

Returns are incredibly simple. Please log into your account, find your item you wish to return and follow the prompts to make a return. If you do not have an account, click here to find your order and make a return.

You will receive a full refund when you return an item in its original manufacturer’s packaging, undamaged and unmarked. If the item you are returning is priced at less than $35, you will be charged a 15% restocking fee. Please note you will not be refunded any shipping charges.

You have 30 days to make a return. During the holiday season, from November 1 to December 31, we extend the return window to 60 days.

If your order has been noticeably damaged in transit, we strongly recommend that you refuse delivery and notify us immediately. Claims for missing items or items damaged in transit must be made within 48 hours of delivery.
