The Nikon Z8 mirrorless camera paired with the 180–600mm telephoto lens delivers high resolution imaging, fast performance, and extended reach in a compact system. Designed for photographers and videographers working in wildlife, sports, events, and video production, this kit combines flagship imaging technology with long-range versatility.
45.7MP Stacked Full-Frame Sensor
The stacked BSI CMOS sensor provides high resolution with fast readout speeds. This reduces rolling shutter and improves low-light performance while supporting detailed stills and high-resolution video capture up to 8K.
EXPEED 7 Image Processor
The EXPEED 7 processor enables fast autofocus calculations, high burst shooting speeds, and smooth video performance. It supports up to 120 fps still capture and large buffer capacity for extended continuous shooting.
Electronic Shutter-Only Design
The fully electronic shutter allows silent shooting with shutter speeds up to 1/32,000 sec. This design eliminates mechanical wear while maintaining flash sync and reliable performance for fast-moving subjects.
Advanced Autofocus with Subject Detection
The 493-point phase-detection AF system covers the entire frame and uses deep learning to detect people, animals, birds, and vehicles. Eye detection and 3D tracking help maintain focus on moving subjects.
Professional Video Recording Capabilities
The Z8 supports internal 8K and 4K recording with multiple frame rates. It offers 12-bit N-RAW and ProRes RAW options for flexible color grading and efficient post-production workflows.
Compact and Durable Camera Body
The smaller body design improves handheld use and gimbal balance. Weather sealing and a magnesium alloy frame support use in demanding environments without adding excess weight.
Real-Time Viewfinder and Tilting Touchscreen
The high-brightness OLED viewfinder provides blackout-free viewing during continuous shooting. The four-axis tilting touchscreen improves framing from high and low angles in both horizontal and vertical shooting.
180–600mm Super-Telephoto Zoom Range
The included lens covers a wide telephoto range for wildlife, sports, and distant subjects. The long reach allows tight framing without changing lenses in the field.
Optical Stability and Smooth Autofocus
Built-in optical VR reduces camera shake by up to 5.5 stops for sharper handheld shots. The STM autofocus motor delivers smooth and quiet focusing for both stills and video.
Durable Lens Design with Tripod Support
Weather sealing and fluorine coating protect the lens during outdoor use. The rotating tripod collar improves balance and stability when mounted on a tripod or monopod.
