The Composite Extruder for METHOD brings all the benefits of printing nylon carbon fiber parts to the MakerBot METHOD 3D printer. It is ideal for structural applications and metal replacement parts.
Strong, Heat-Resistant Metal Replacement Parts
The carbon fiber reinforced nylon is optimized for high strength, stiffness, and heat resistance making it ideal for structural applications and metal replacements. It has excellent strength to weight ratio - 110 MPa TS - for light weighting applications such as robotic end effectors. The engineering-grade stiffness - 7600 MPa Tensile Modulus is ideal for structural applications such as vehicular brackets and inspection gauges. Additionally, the high heat resistance under load – 184 degree C HDT - for optimal under-hood and tooling applications.
Superior Nylon Carbon Fiber Parts with METHOD
METHOD’s unique industrial feature set produces carbon fiber parts with superior three-dimensional strength and accuracy. METHOD’s Heated Chamber delivers parts that are strong and accurate. It has outstanding surface finish that hides layer lines thanks to METHOD’s Ultra-Rigid Metal Frame. You can print the most complex geometries including internal cavities with soluble support, or use breakaway support for faster print times. Additionally, the METHOD’s sealed filament bays help keep the material dry, resulting in better print quality and reliability, and METHOD’s pre-print spool drying feature allows for the recovery of oversaturated filament.

Returns are incredibly simple. Please log into your account, find your item you wish to return and follow the prompts to make a return. If you do not have an account, click here to find your order and make a return.

You will receive a full refund when you return an item in its original manufacturer’s packaging, undamaged and unmarked. If the item you are returning is priced at less than $35, you will be charged a 15% restocking fee. Please note you will not be refunded any shipping charges.

You have 30 days to make a return. During the holiday season, from November 1 to December 31, we extend the return window to 60 days.

If your order has been noticeably damaged in transit, we strongly recommend that you refuse delivery and notify us immediately. Claims for missing items or items damaged in transit must be made within 48 hours of delivery. If there is carrier damage, please contact support@focuscamera.com with your order number and a description of the damage.
