The MakerBot Labs Experimental Extruder in
Black is made for the MakerBot Replicator, Replicator Plus, Replicator Mini,
Replicator Mini Plus, and Replicator Z18 to customize your 3D printing
experience. It is designed for the advanced user who wants to push the limits
of what is possible on MakerBot 3D Printers. It offers creative flexibility
with a range of materials. Push the boundaries of MakerBot 3D printing with
interchangeable nozzles, custom material print modes, and unlocked advanced
print settings. Get the freedom to switch from production to sandbox. Quickly
switch from the reliability of the Smart Extruder Plus to the Experimental
Extruder to test the limits of your ideas. Drafting for speed print existing
PLA materials with the included large diameter draft nozzles dramatically
reduces total print time by up to 75 percent. Designed to be customized with a
modified thermal core and a more secure thermal barrier tube, the Experimental
Extruder was redesigned to make changing nozzles easier. Download and print the
Experimental Extruder Jig to provide a more stable platform. The Experimental
Extruder unlocks over 35 additional custom print settings in MakerBot Print to
allow a user to further tune their prints. These settings are tied to the
Experimental Extruder and can only be accessed when connected to a printer that
has an Experimental Extruder attached.

Returns are incredibly simple. Please log into your account, find your item you wish to return and follow the prompts to make a return. If you do not have an account, click here to find your order and make a return.

You will receive a full refund when you return an item in its original manufacturer’s packaging, undamaged and unmarked. If the item you are returning is priced at less than $35, you will be charged a 15% restocking fee. Please note you will not be refunded any shipping charges.

You have 30 days to make a return. During the holiday season, from November 1 to December 31, we extend the return window to 60 days.

If your order has been noticeably damaged in transit, we strongly recommend that you refuse delivery and notify us immediately. Claims for missing items or items damaged in transit must be made within 48 hours of delivery. If there is carrier damage, please contact support@focuscamera.com with your order number and a description of the damage.
