The RED Digital Cinema KOMODO-X 6K Camera Bundle combines a compact Super 35 global shutter cinema camera with the core media, power, handling, audio, and timecode accessories needed to build a mobile production system. Its 19.9 MP CMOS sensor captures 6144 x 3240 pixels with 16.5 plus stops of dynamic range, while the global shutter exposes the entire frame simultaneously to help maintain image geometry during fast motion, camera movement, visual effects work, and synchronized multi camera production.
6K REDCODE RAW and High Frame Rate Capture
KOMODO-X records REDCODE RAW at up to 80 fps in 6K 17:9, 96 fps in 5K 17:9, 120 fps in 4K 17:9, and 240 fps in 2K 17:9. Qualified CFexpress Type B media supports data rates up to 560 MB/s. Dedicated Apple ProRes recording is also available in 4K, including ProRes 4444 XQ up to 60 fps, ProRes 4444 up to 80 fps, and ProRes 422 HQ, 422, and 422 LT up to 120 fps. This gives crews both REDCODE RAW flexibility and edit ready codec options within the same camera platform.
Locking RF Mount and Professional I/O
The integrated locking Canon RF mount provides electronic lens communication with a reinforced connection for configured cinema rigs. Compatible RED RF to PL adapters expand the system to supported PL lenses. Camera I/O includes 12G SDI monitoring up to 4K 60p, USB Type C, a full size 6 pin DC input, a locking 5 pin audio input with mic, line, and 48 V phantom power support, plus a 9 pin EXT interface for tri level genlock, LTC timecode, and RS 232 control. Phase detect and contrast autofocus add focusing support with compatible lenses.
Connected Production and Multi Camera Control
Integrated dual band Wi-Fi and Ethernet over USB Type C support camera control, video preview, and media offload.
