Ricoh Theta SC2 360-Degree 4K Spherical VR Camera (White)
A perfect companion for 360 enthusiasts, the Theta SC2 joins in the Ricoh Theta series of 360-degree cameras featuring the same form factor as the previous models with exciting new features. It uses two 12MP high-speed interface-compatible image sensors for recording 4K videos up to 3 minutes. The 1-inch type imaging sensors also allow for high-sensitivity shooting with low noise when shooting in dimly lit surroundings. Thanks to a built-in shake-correction function, the Ricoh Theta SC2 4K Spherical VR Camera gives you sharp images and videos. It comes with an upgraded image processing engine that allows for real-time stitching when recording 4K video. A simple, compact, and lightweight design lets you carry this camera along anywhere with ease.
Face Detection Function
One of the amazing features of this camera is that faces are detected and centered in the image to get a perfect shot. Also, the exposure compensation and noise reduction feature brightens faces for beautiful looking skin. The face detection function area ranges up to 85-100cm.
Bluetooth Connection
The Ricoh Theta SC2 comes with Bluetooth connectivity for easy file transfer to your smartphone. You can also remotely control the camera using a Bluetooth remote control. Don’t worry about any interruptions when connected to the Internet on a smartphone through wireless LAN - simultaneously shooting is possible!
Built-In Presents
The Theta SC2 VR camera comes with an amazing Night View Shooting preset that lets you capture low-noise shots. This preset independently controls the exposure and white balance for both the front and rear cameras in scenes with extreme differences in contrast. The Highlight Priority AE mode when used in dark scenes lets you capture amazing shots of the main subjects even when they are lit brightly.
Underwater Mode
This 4K spherical camera comes with a White Balance (WB) setting that allows for underwater shooting (approximately 5 to 10 meters). You can easily control the WB settings from your smartphone. When the camera is switched on without configuring My Settings, it automatically switches to WB Auto.
