Sony MDR7506 Folding Professional Closed Ear Headphones

The Sony MDR-7506 Professional Stereo Headphones are perfect for sound monitoring in recording studios, radio, film production, video, and electronic newsgathering. The included stereo adapter plug lets you use the headphones with both 1/4-inch and 1/8-inch enabled devices.

Construction

The Sony MDR-7506 features a closed-ear design that offers great isolation. The padded ear cups and a generously padded headband makes the MDR-75006 headphones comfortable to wear even during prolonged use. Lightweight yet rugged with a convenient folding design, these DJ style over-ear headphones are extremely durable and portable.

40mm Driver Unit Technology

Thanks to neodymium magnets and 40mm driver unit technology, these headphones offer high-quality sound reproduction. Count on stable signal connection and transmission thanks to its 3.5mm gold connector and a 9.8-inch professional-quality OFC (oxygen-free copper) cord.

Wide Frequency Response

Expensive blue tooth and noise cancelling have their place but the sound reproduction lacks in my opinion. This MDR 7506 sounds fine.

I've used and seen them used for years by many professional touring audio engineers. And...no you can't borrow them; go get your own, you won't regret it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by DaveE93 from Very Nice Headphone It is very comfortable to wear, even after watching a movie for 2 1/2 hours, my ears does not feel uncomfortable. It is a perfect size for me. The sound quality is good, however, I don't know if it is my connector, but when I test it by turning the volume off, I could hear some buzzing sound. Or went the volume gets too high, there are cracking sound. It is more likely my system and not the Sony's headphone that's the cause. But I don't know much about sound equipment and setup. So I can't give a great review since I am lacking in knowledge regarding sound equipment so my opinion would be amateurish at best. However, it is hard to beat the price for a good headphone like this.
