The newest edition to Tamron's high-speed zoom lenses, this 17-70mm f/2.8 Lens is designed for FUJIFILM X-Mount mirrorless cameras with APS-C size sensors. It offers a maximum aperture of f/2.8 across the entire 4.1x zoom ratio covering a focal range from 17-70mm. It offers a full-frame equivalent focal range of 25.5-105mm. It is an ideal companion for everyday use delivering superb optical performance. This lightweight and compact lens come equipped with Tamron's VC (Vibration Compensation) mechanism that leverages AI technology when shooting video, minimizing camera shake.
Outstanding Optical Performance
The optical construction of a 17-70mm f/2.8 Lens uses 16 elements in 12 groups. It comprises of two GM (Glass Molded Aspherical) lens elements and one hybrid aspherical lens element that are precisely arranged to maintain edge-to-edge resolution. It’s ideal for a variety of scenarios, from portraits and street snapshots to landscapes and even close-ups.
Upgraded VC with AI for Video Shooting
This 17-70mm f/2.8 Lens features Tamron's proprietary VC mechanism. It utilizes sophisticated algorithms with a dedicated, independently operating MPU that combine to compensate for vibration due to camera shake when shooting handheld. This feature is available when used with both cameras with or without built-in image stabilization. When shooting video, the image stabilization performance is improved thanks to AI technology.
High-Performance Autofocus System
This zoom lens comes with an RXD (Rapid eXtra-silent stepping Drive) stepping motor unit that aids in quick, smooth focusing. It uses an actuator to precisely control the rotational angle of the motor, allowing it to directly drive the focusing lens without passing through a reduction gear. When paired with a sensor that precisely detects the position of the lens enables high-speed and accurate AF, which is ideal when shooting continually moving subjects or recording video.
Close Focusing of 7.5 Inches at Wide-Angle End
The 17-70mm f/2.8 zoom offers a close focus distance of up to 7.5 inches. With a 15.4-inch MOD at the 70mm telephoto end, be rest assured to enjoy compelling close-up shots

The 17-70mm f/2.8 lens measures 4.7 inches in length and 74.6mm in maximum diameter and weighs only 18.5 oz. It accepts filters measuring 67mm in diameter. Making this lens, ideal for travel and providing portability for daily use.

You will receive a full refund when you return an item in its original manufacturer’s packaging, undamaged and unmarked. If the item you are returning is priced at less than $35, you will be charged a 15% restocking fee. Please note you will not be refunded any shipping charges.

If your order has been noticeably damaged in transit, we strongly recommend that you refuse delivery and notify us immediately. Claims for missing items or items damaged in transit must be made within 48 hours of delivery.
