Easy-to-Use Controls
With its integrated 2.4 GHz transceiver, you can use the FJ80-SE on-camera as both a flash and transmitter. Control FJ400 and FJ200 strobes, FJ-XR receivers, and off-camera FJ80 speedlights devices directly from the hot shoe. When mounted off-camera, the FJ80-SE acts as a client speedlight. Trigger via an on-camera mounted FJ80, FJ-X3, or FJ-X2 Wireless Triggers. Its robust, all-metal hot shoe ensures a reliable connection to your Sony camera every time you shoot. With the FJ80-SE speedlight, you get the most accurate color temperature stability at 6500K (plus minus 200K) across its entire 9-stop output range in flash increments of either 0.1 or 1.0 stops. This means color-consistent images throughout your entire shoot. The FJ80-SE offers dependable wireless communication in high-interference locations like events and weddings. Control up to 16 groups across 31 separate channels from up to 328 feet (100m). Energy range can be displayed in whole numbers or fractions. With an intuitive menu and LCD display, the FJ80-SE features Manual and TTL Flash Modes, High-Speed Sync (HSS) up to 1 per 8000s, plus Front and Rear Curtain Sync. Control up to 16 groups across 31 separate channels. Take advantage of Automatic Memory Recall, group and channel assignment, and Group Exposure Compensation. It offers Continuous Capture up to 20 FPS, TTL to Manual Equivalent (as Client), modeling lamp settings, and more. Keep your FJ80 up to date by downloading and installing the latest firmware via the onboard USB-C data port.
Energy Efficient
The FJ80-SE provides over 550 full-power flashes per charge with a fast recycle time of 0.05 to 1.8 seconds. Its removable 2500mAh lithium-ion battery fully recharges in under 3 hours. Self-monitoring heat protection allows for safe operation and long-lasting use. Its energy-efficient LED modeling lamp has auto-adjust and independent output control.
Portable and Flexible
You can tilt and rotate the speedlight for complete flexibility. This portable flash head provides 360-degree horizontal and 90-degree vertical pivot ranges. Mount the FJ80 off-camera via the cold shoe or use the included shoe stand to make it free-standing. The shoe stand is equipped with a 1/4 inch-20 female thread for mounting to most light stands with no additional hardware required. Pair with a FJ80 Speedlight Insert (No 2544) for use with the Rapid Box Switch line of portable softboxes.

How do I return an item?

Returns are incredibly simple. Please log into your account, find your item you wish to return and follow the prompts to make a return. If you do not have an account, click here to find your order and make a return.

Will I receive a full refund when I return an item?

You will receive a full refund when you return an item in its original manufacturer’s packaging, undamaged and unmarked. If the item you are returning is priced at less than $35, you will be charged a 15% restocking fee. Please note you will not be refunded any shipping charges.

How many days do I have to make a return?

You have 30 days to make a return. During the holiday season, from November 1 to December 31, we extend the return window to 60 days. 

My item was damaged in transit. How do I place a return?

If your order has been noticeably damaged in transit, we strongly recommend that you refuse delivery and notify us immediately. Claims for missing items or items damaged in transit must be made within 48 hours of delivery. If there is carrier damage, please contact support@focuscamera.com with your order number and a description of the damage.

Can I exchange an item?

We do not currently offer exchanges. Please return the item you purchased within 30 days and order what you’d like instead.

If I ordered a kit, do I have to return all the items?

If you ordered a kit, you must return all components and accessories to receive a full refund.

I ordered a product that included a free item. I’d like to return it, do I need to return the free item as well?

If you ordered a product that included a free item, you must include the free item with your return. If not, your return will not be accepted and you will not receive a full refund.

Do you offer repairs?

We currently only offer camera repairs at our Brooklyn store. The item must be dropped off and collected in person as we do not accept shipped items for repair. For more information, please call our Brooklyn store on 1.718.431.7900.
