The ZEISS SFL 12x50 Lightweight Compact Binocular in Black has an advanced optical design devoted to optimal compactness. The binocular is up to 15 percent lighter than the competitors' 50 mm binoculars. The binocular has 2 percent more light to manage and transmit. It is equipped with ZEISS T lens coatings for light transmission and color correction. The binocular boasts a tripod-ready interface via a removable hinge cap and 1/4-20 port.
Lightweight and Streamlined Design
It has maximized optical performance and minimized weight. It is the same size as or smaller than, most popular 42 mm binoculars. All the benefits of a 50 mm in the size of a 42 mm. The binocular has reduced lens diameter and thinner lens elements for reduced weight and minimized distance between lens elements for ultra-compactness. It has even reduced space between lenses. The binocular boasts a lightweight and super compact design. The Schmidt-Pechan prisms provide a streamlined design. Magnesium housing contributes to ruggedness and light.
High-Performance Optics with UHD Concept
The larger objective and larger exit pupil equals more light. 90 percent light transmission ensures brighter images. Exceptional color fidelity allows accurate wildlife identification. The wider field of view makes it easier to locate and track moving subjects and a close focusing distance of 6-feet provides detailed viewing of close subjects.
Near-Perfect Ergonomics
The SmartFocus Concept features a large focus wheel positioned for optimal hand placement, preventing over-stretching of the focusing finger. 1.4 turns of the focus wheel provide fast adjustment from 6-feet to infinity. The binocular offers fatigue-free viewing due to a perfectly balanced design. It has adjustable, removable, and heavy-duty eyecups to enhance usability.
Materials and Treatment
The magnesium chassis is durable, lightweight, and superior in stability from temperature shifts. Rubber armoring with appropriate surface texture and ideal grip lines - chemical resistant. ZEISS LotuTec protective hydrophobic lens coating for exterior lenses ensures that water beads off lens surfaces and allows dust, dirt, and fingerprints to clean off easily.
Optical Design
Up to 10 lenses are carefully selected and index-matched to provide ideal optical quality. Precise manufacturing maintains critical tolerances to yield a most rugged binocular. ZEISS FieldFlattener technology ensures high resolution over the entire field of view.
Higher Image Brightness and Comfortable Viewing Experience
You can get more image details - which is especially crucial in low-light conditions, and overcast days. The binocular offers a more immersive viewing experience and dramatically less eye fatigue in extended observations.

You will receive a full refund when you return an item in its original manufacturer’s packaging, undamaged and unmarked. If the item you are returning is priced at less than $35, you will be charged a 15% restocking fee. Please note you will not be refunded any shipping charges.

If your order has been noticeably damaged in transit, we strongly recommend that you refuse delivery and notify us immediately.
