The Alpen Optics Chisos 10x42 ED Rangefinding Binoculars combine detailed optical viewing with integrated laser distance measurement. Featuring 10x magnification, 42mm objectives, ED glass, and multicoated BaK4 roof prisms, they provide bright, high-contrast images for wildlife observation, landscape viewing, and outdoor activities. The built-in rangefinder displays distance readings directly within the field of view, eliminating the need to switch between separate binoculars and a rangefinding device.
Integrated Laser Rangefinder
The rangefinder measures distances up to 3,000 yards for large structures and up to 1,200 yards for smaller targets such as deer, according to Alpen's published examples. Choose between LOS mode for direct line-of-sight distance and HCD mode for angle-compensated distance. Measurements appear through a red OLED display with eight brightness settings, automatic brightness adjustment, and selectable yard or meter units.
Clear Optics and Comfortable Viewing
ED glass and multicoated BaK4 roof prisms help deliver detailed, high-contrast views. A wide central focusing wheel allows precise adjustments, while the -5 to +5 diopter range helps accommodate individual vision differences. Twist-up eyecups and 17mm eye relief provide comfortable viewing with or without eyeglasses.
Outdoor-Ready Construction
An aluminum housing with protective rubber armoring supports secure handling and resistance to everyday bumps. The binoculars are waterproof to the manufacturer's stated depth of 1 meter for 30 minutes and include a tripod adapter for supported viewing. Measuring 165 x 130 x 63mm and weighing 890g, they combine rangefinding and binocular functionality in one device powered by a CR2 battery.

You will receive a full refund when you return an item in its original manufacturer’s packaging, undamaged and unmarked. If the item you are returning is priced at less than $35, you will be charged a 15% restocking fee. Please note you will not be refunded any shipping charges.
