Apple AirTag (2nd generation) is a compact item tracker for keeping important belongings easier to locate. Bluetooth supports proximity finding, while the Apple-designed second-generation Ultra Wideband chip enables expanded Precision Finding on compatible devices. The speaker is 50 percent louder than the previous generation, and NFC tap for Lost Mode adds another way to help identify a misplaced item.
Expanded Precision Finding
AirTag offers up to 1.5x greater Precision Finding range than the previous generation. Expanded Precision Finding works when AirTag (2nd generation) is paired with iPhone Air or iPhone 15 or later, excluding iPhone 16e and iPhone 17e, where available. For supported Apple Watch models, Precision Finding requires Apple Watch Series 9 or later or Apple Watch Ultra 2 or later with watchOS 26.2.1.
Compact Design and Replaceable Power
AirTag measures 1.26 inches in diameter, 0.31 inch high, and weighs 0.42 ounce. It is rated IP67 under IEC 60529 for a maximum depth of 1 meter up to 30 minutes under controlled laboratory conditions. The user-replaceable CR2032 coin cell battery can power AirTag for more than a year under usage conditions stated by Apple, with actual life varying by use.
Setup requires an Apple Account and an iPhone with iOS 26.0 or later or an iPad with iPadOS 26.0 or later. The Find My app works with VoiceOver, Invert Colors, Larger Text, and compatible braille displays on iPhone. AirTag is specified for operating temperatures from −4 to 140 degrees F. Its enclosure uses 85 percent recycled plastic, with 100 percent recycled rare earth elements in all magnets.

Returns are incredibly simple. Please log into your account, find your item you wish to return and follow the prompts to make a return. If you do not have an account, click here to find your order and make a return.

You will receive a full refund when you return an item in its original manufacturer’s packaging, undamaged and unmarked. If the item you are returning is priced at less than $35, you will be charged a 15% restocking fee. Please note you will not be refunded any shipping charges.

If your order has been noticeably damaged in transit, we strongly recommend that you refuse delivery and notify us immediately. Claims for missing items or items damaged in transit must be made within 48 hours of delivery.
