The Amaran AL-F7 is an updated version of Aputure's popular AL-H198. It has a maximum brightness of up to 14000 lux @ 0.3m with a 45-degree beam angle. The F7 features an exceptionally high color accuracy rating, boasting a CRI and TLCI of 95+. Featuring an expanded bicolor range of 3200K-9500K, the F7 allows you to light any scene imaginable and makes it easier to control your brightness and color temperature. The F7 is lightweight and compact, affordable, and of course, extremely bright.

Accurate Stepless Brightness Controls

The Amaran AL-F7 offers an advanced output readout that includes stepless controls all the way to 1% (8 lux @ 0.5m, 3200K), allowing for extremely fine-tuning of your light for shooting in environments that require very precise lighting scenarios.

Multiple Charging Methods

The Amaran AL-F7 can be charged in several different ways: you can use D-Tap, USB Type-C or a Sony NP-F series battery. Whether it's through a power bank, V-Mount battery or classic Sony NP-F battery, powering this light is easy. With an onboard display on the back of the F7, you can easily see how much battery remains, as well as your brightness and color temperature settings.

Brightness Comes in a Small Package

The F7 packs 256 high-CRI LED lights into one small panel, offering a strong output of up to 14000 lux @ 0.3m with a lifetime of 100,000 hours. Following the lineage of the Amaran family, the F7 inherits the fundamental belief that high output, color-accurate lighting should always be affordable.

Swift and Easy Setup

The AL-F7 makes the shooting process much more efficient and smoothly. The adjustment for the color temperature and brightness can be easily switched back and forth by a simple touch. The built-in memory allows the last settings of the light to be stored automatically without any manual involvement.

Ultra-wide Color Temperature Range

The Amaran AL-F7 has a super wide range of 3200K-9500K, allowing you to have more choices for a wide range of shooting conditions. This expanded bicolor option also means that the light's absolute maximum output will be right at 5500K, or perfect daylight.

Lightweight and Portable

The Amaran AL-F7 weighs only 260g, or just over half a pound. There is a 1/4 screw thread built-in on each of the three sides of the light, making the F7 an extremely versatile light to be used in various settings. In addition, a hot-shoe mounting ball head and a canvas bag are also included in the package.

How do I return an item?

Returns are incredibly simple. Please log into your account, find your item you wish to return and follow the prompts to make a return. If you do not have an account, click here to find your order and make a return.

Will I receive a full refund when I return an item?

You will receive a full refund when you return an item in its original manufacturer’s packaging, undamaged and unmarked. If the item you are returning is priced at less than $35, you will be charged a 15% restocking fee. Please note you will not be refunded any shipping charges.

How many days do I have to make a return?

You have 30 days to make a return. During the holiday season, from November 1 to December 31, we extend the return window to 60 days. 

My item was damaged in transit. How do I place a return?

If your order has been noticeably damaged in transit, we strongly recommend that you refuse delivery and notify us immediately. Claims for missing items or items damaged in transit must be made within 48 hours of delivery. If there is carrier damage, please contact support@focuscamera.com with your order number and a description of the damage. 

There’s an issue with my order, what should I do?

Can I exchange an item?

We do not currently offer exchanges. Please return the item you purchased within 30 days and order what you’d like instead.

If I ordered a kit, do I have to return all the items?

If you ordered a kit, you must return all components and accessories to receive a full refund.

I ordered a product that included a free item. I’d like to return it, do I need to return the free item as well?

If you ordered a product that included a free item, you must include the free item with your return. If not, your return will not be accepted and you will not receive a full refund.

Do you offer repairs?

We currently only offer camera repairs at our Brooklyn store. The item must be dropped off and collected in person as we do not accept shipped items for repair. For more information, please call our Brooklyn store on 1.718.431.7900.
