Next Generation Range

The BLAIR-CG light engine enables the STORM 1000c to achieve a wide CCT range of 1,800K-20,000K with full +/- green adjustment.

ProLock Locking Bowens Mount

The STORM lights feature the ProLock Locking Bowens Mount, a more secure clamping design for attaching modifiers. Bowens accessories are held rigidly in place and precision optics such as fresnels and spotlight projectors are precisely aligned with the light engine.

45 Degrees Wide Reflector

This wide reflector provides a natural falloff similar to traditional lighting fixtures with uniform, edge-to-edge output distribution and increase the brightness of the large-chip lights. This reflector is compatible with both the Aputure Storm 1000c and Storm 1200x.

Aputure CF12 Bowens Mount Fresnel

The CF12 Fresnel is a compact fresnel with a 12 inch diameter lens and Bowens Mount, optimized for use with the STORM 1000c and 1200x. The CF12 Fresnel intensifies the STORM 1000c output by up to 9 times (5600K, full intensity at 1 meter equals 58,500 lux). The optics provide an even output at all beam angles, with a smooth center-to-edge falloff. It uses a dual-expanding focusing system with multiple lens elements to drastically reduce its size and weight without compromising optical performance.

Aputure CF12 8-Leaf Barn Doors

The CF12 Barn Doors mount to the front of the CF12 Fresnel to cut and shape the beam. Four main doors and four slide-out extensions control spill. Additionally, the CF12 Barn Doors can hold a standard 13-inches scrim to control the light output.

Aputure Stainless-Steel Skid

The STORM 1000c/1200x Skid is a steel skid attachment that secures to the bottom of the STORM 1000c and STORM 1200x. The Skid raises the light so that a CF12 Fresnel and CF12 Barn Doors can be mounted without them contacting the ground. A cutout at the rear of the skid allows the STORM light’s head cable to be plugged in without it contacting the ground as well. With this Skid mounted, the STORM 1000c and STORM 1200x with its head cable, a CF12 Fresnel, and CF12 Barn Doors attached can sit safely on a shelf or equipment cart.
