The Atomos SUMO19/SUMO19M Sunhood is designed for 19-inch products. This Atomos sunhood features a fully collapsible zipper design that can securely attach to the front bezel of the Sumo body using 1/4-20-inch screws. The collapsed hood can then be used as a screen protector. This Sumo Sunhood is optional but provides a much better experience when viewing HDR, which uses a larger range of contrast.

Your monitoring experience can be easily affected by your environment. To optimize your experience and resolve the dynamic range when viewing HDR imagery, you need to minimize the ambient light or glare that appears between your eyes and the screen. This sunhood blocks excess reflections to protect your monitor. This gives you a better HDR experience and clearer viewing. With its rugged exterior fabric and soft velvet interior, the Sumo19 Sunhood is optimized for onset monitoring.
Collapsible Design
The Atomos Sumo19 Sunhood is fully collapsible, doubling up as a screen protector to allow safe transportation of your Sumo. It zips into place to retain its shape.
How to Install
Simply attach the base of the sunhood to your Sumo19, screw the hood into the base and then fold out the face of your hood; it will form a rectangular tunnel. The sunhood is easy to collapse thanks to the zippered corner construction, and it is easy to screw on using the integrated mounting bracket when you need to protect your monitor or get some privacy.

You will receive a full refund when you return an item in its original manufacturer’s packaging, undamaged and unmarked. If the item you are returning is priced at less than $35, you will be charged a 15% restocking fee. Please note you will not be refunded any shipping charges.

You have 30 days to make a return. During the holiday season, from November 1 to December 31, we extend the return window to 60 days.

If your order has been noticeably damaged in transit, we strongly recommend that you refuse delivery and notify us immediately. Claims for missing items or items damaged in transit must be made within 48 hours of delivery.
