This compact playback device connects to compatible USB4 and Thunderbolt 4 computers, then provides dedicated 3G-SDI and HDMI outputs for monitoring SD and HD projects. It supports video standards up to 1080p60, making it a practical interface for editing, color correction, broadcast graphics, and post-production review.
Professional SDI and HDMI Output
The UltraStudio Express Monitor 3G provides one switchable SD and HD 3G-SDI output and one HDMI 2.0 output. The SDI connection carries up to 16 embedded audio channels, while HDMI carries up to 8 embedded audio channels. Support for 10-bit SDI video, multiple color spaces, and common broadcast frame rates helps maintain a consistent monitoring workflow across professional displays and production environments.
HDR and Color Workflow Support
SDI and HDMI outputs support HDR metadata packing with HLG and PQ transfer characteristics. The device also supports Rec 601, Rec 709, and Rec 2020 color spaces. Hardware-based real-time color space conversion and broad video sampling support make the interface useful for evaluating projects across a range of SD and HD delivery standards.

A USB Type-C interface supports USB 40Gbps connectivity and supplies power from the connected computer. The device works with supported Mac, Windows, and Linux systems and integrates with applications including DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere Pro, Avid Media Composer, and other professional video tools. Returns are incredibly simple. Please log into your account, find your item you wish to return and follow the prompts to make a return. If you do not have an account, click here to find your order and make a return.

You will receive a full refund when you return an item in its original manufacturer’s packaging, undamaged and unmarked. If the item you are returning is priced at less than $35, you will be charged a 15% restocking fee. Please note you will not be refunded any shipping charges.
