The Blackmagic Design URSA Cine 12K LF Camera Body is a revolution in digital film with a new large format RGBW 36 x 24mm sensor with larger photo-sites for 16 stops of dynamic range. The URSA Cine 12K LF Body model is ideal when you have existing cinema accessories that you want to use to create your own camera rig. It excludes top handle, baseplate, power supply, battery plate and PL lens mount. It does come with an interchangeable EF lens mount, a dedicated assist station with a second 5-inch HDR LCD touchscreen, built-in ND filters and industry-standard Lemo and Fischer connections.
Built in ND Filters and Focus Button
Button activated ND filters with clear, 2-stop, 4-stop and 6-stop IR ND filters. Focus button turns on peaking, auto focus available using compatible lenses.
Iris Control
Iris wheel and touchscreen slider for manual iris adjustment on electronically controllable lenses, iris button for instant auto iris settings on compatible lenses so no pixel is clipped in film mode. Scene average auto exposure in video mode.
Controls
Touchscreen menus on 5 inch screen. Push buttons for other controls. 7 assignable shortcut keys plus 6 assignable viewfinder shortcut keys on optional URSA Cine EVF.
Timecode Clock
Highly accurate timecode clock. Less than 1 frame drift every 8 hours.

The evenly weighted camera body is built with a robust magnesium alloy chassis and lightweight carbon fiber polycarbonate composite skin to help you move quickly on set. Soft touch backlit buttons make controls easy to see in all conditions.
Large Format Flexibility
The large format sensor in URSA Cine provides the ultimate in flexibility for aspect ratios, lenses and delivery formats. The full sensor area gives you a stunning 3:2 open gate image which lets you reframe your shots in post production.
Rugged Industry Standard Connections
The wide range of industry standard connections on URSA Cine make it perfect for high end cinema production. The 7 pin Lemo and 3 pin Fischer connectors at the front provide record start and stop and 24V power so are ideal for on board accessories such as focus motors.
RAW Fueled
Blackmagic RAW is a revolutionary format designed to capture and preserve the quality of the sensor data from your camera. Blackmagic RAW files store camera metadata, lens data, white balance, digital slate information and custom LUTs to ensure consistency of image on set and through post production.
Full Frame Capture at Higher Frame Rates
Project frame rates of 23.98, 24, 25, 29.97, 30, 50, 59.94 and 60 fps supported. Maximum sensor frame rate dependent on resolution selected.
Includes DaVinci Resolve Studio
URSA Cine includes a full version of DaVinci Resolve Studio. You get the world’s most advanced solution that combines professional editing, color correction, audio post and visual effects all in one software tool. DaVinci Resolve is used to finish more Hollywood feature films than any other solution, so you'll get the best possible post production tools to edit native video from your camera and retain every bit of quality.

URSA Cine comes with everything you need to get started on set. Every camera comes in a rugged Pelican case with custom foam cutouts that precisely and securely fit the camera and its accessories. You even get a massive 8TB Media Module preinstalled, formatted and ready to record. That’s enough for over 4 hours of stunning 12K.

You will receive a full refund when you return an item in its original manufacturer’s packaging, undamaged and unmarked. If the item you are returning is priced at less than $35, you will be charged a 15% restocking fee. Please note you will not be refunded any shipping charges.
