Blackmagic PYXIS 12K EF is an advanced digital film camera with an incredibly versatile design that lets you build the perfect camera rig for your production. This new model features a 12,288 x 8040 full frame RGBW sensor with built in optical low pass filter, 16 stops of dynamic range, dual CFexpress media slots, all in a customizable body with flexible mounting options and side plates. Blackmagic PYXIS 12K EF features a fixed locking EF mount that works with Canon-compatible photo and cine lenses.
12K Full Frame Sensor
The camera uses a 12,288 x 8040 full frame RGBW sensor with wide format options including open gate and Super 35. This enables high-resolution capture suitable for film, visual effects, and reframing.
Canon EF Mount Support
The active locking EF mount supports Canon-compatible lenses, enabling access to a wide range of optics for different production scenarios. It is secure and reliable for both photo and cinema lenses.
Extended Dynamic Range
With 16 stops of dynamic range, the PYXIS 12K EF captures more image information across bright and dark areas. This supports better results in color correction and grading.
Dual CFexpress Media Slots
The camera features two CFexpress Type B card slots for high-speed media capture. These support long takes, high-bitrate formats, and efficient file management on set.
High Frame Rates Up to 112 fps
Capture up to 60 fps in 12K or up to 112 fps in 8K/4K. Ideal for cinematic slow motion or fast action scenes with no compromise in image quality.
Integrated Touchscreen UI
The 4-inch touchscreen provides fast access to camera controls. Menu navigation, focus assist, and frame guides are available directly on-screen, streamlining the shooting process.

Returns are incredibly simple. Please log into your account, find your item you wish to return and follow the prompts to make a return. If you do not have an account, click here to find your order and make a return.

You will receive a full refund when you return an item in its original manufacturer’s packaging, undamaged and unmarked. If the item you are returning is priced at less than $35, you will be charged a 15% restocking fee. Please note you will not be refunded any shipping charges.

If your order has been noticeably damaged in transit, we strongly recommend that you refuse delivery and notify us immediately.
