Hybrid Power for Still and Video Creators
The EOS R6 Mark II is a full-frame mirrorless camera crafted for both personal storytelling and professional production. With advanced still and video features, it offers unmatched flexibility and creative control for hybrid shooters who demand precision, speed, and cinematic quality in one body.
Precision Shooting with Cropping Guide
Canon’s innovative Cropping Guide brings intuitive composition to life. Whether you're photographing school portraits, sports action, or staged setups, this feature ensures your subject is consistently framed. Send your camera to Canon’s service center to unlock this feature, activate it via the menu, and choose the guide that best fits your shooting needs.
Enhanced Image Quality with New Sensor
Equipped with a Canon-designed 24.2 Megapixel full-frame CMOS sensor, the EOS R6 Mark II delivers sharp, detailed images even in low-light conditions. Paired with the DIGIC X processor, it enables fast performance, powerful image processing, Dual Pixel CMOS AF II, and advanced video recording.
Speed and Power with Continuous Shooting
Capture the perfect moment with high-speed continuous shooting at up to 12 fps with the mechanical shutter and up to 40 fps using the electronic shutter. RAW Burst Mode, with pre-shooting enabled.
Advanced Autofocus and Subject Detection
Dual Pixel CMOS AF II covers up to approximately 100% x 100% of the frame with 1,053 AF zones. Thanks to deep learning, the EOS R6 Mark II can now detect horses, trains, airplanes, people, animals, and vehicles, including enhanced head, face, and eye tracking for humans and animals.
Cinema-Ready Video Capabilities
Shoot 6K oversampled uncropped 4K up to 60 fps or Full-HD up to 180 fps with AF tracking. The camera supports Canon Log 3, HDR PQ, and Full-HD proxy recording. Record continuously in Full-HD for up to 6 hours or 4K for over 50 minutes. It’s also compatible with Canon’s RF5.2mm F2.8 L Dual Fisheye lens for simplified VR content creation.
Built-In Stability and Design Flexibility
The in-body 5-axis image stabilizer provides up to 8 stops of shake correction, especially when paired with RF lenses that feature optical IS. Electronic Movie Digital IS further improves footage when walking or in motion. The 3.0-inch vari-angle touchscreen and 0.5-inch OLED EVF (3.69 million dots) offer accurate, responsive viewing at up to 120 fps.
Seamless Connectivity
Connect to smart devices via built-in Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, or use the USB-C port for wired transfer. Use the Canon Camera Connect app to geotag photos, remotely control the camera, or transfer files directly to your smartphone.
