The RASA 6 with Advanced VX mount offers fast imaging performance with a wide field of view, designed for those who need reliable astrophotography capabilities on the move. This system simplifies setup, reduces exposure time, and delivers detailed deep-sky images.
Ultra-Fast f/2.2 Optics
Capture deep-sky objects with shorter sub-exposures and reduced total exposure time. The fast optics allow imaging without the need for autoguiding in many cases, which simplifies the workflow and saves time.
Sub-Arcsecond Resolution
The RASA 6 supports high-resolution sensors and favorable sky conditions to produce clear, sharp images. This feature allows for the capture of fine structures in galaxies and nebulae.
Wide Field of View
The system supports up to a 22mm sensor and provides a 3.8-degree field of view. This enables you to frame large targets like nebulae and star clusters in a single shot.
Advanced VX Mount Compatibility
The Advanced VX mount supports up to 30 lb of payload, offering stability during imaging sessions. It includes GoTo tracking, alignment tools, and compatibility with imaging accessories.
Integrated Filter and Cooling System
Built-in filter drawer and cooling fan allow quick adjustments and help maintain optical performance during long sessions. This improves efficiency and helps protect components from dust and overheating.
Portable and Lightweight
The RASA 6 tube weighs just 8.4 lb, making it easy to transport for remote imaging sessions. Combined with the compact Advanced VX mount, it’s suited for both field and backyard use.
- Never look directly at the Sun with the naked eye or with an optic (unless you have the proper solar filter). Permanent and irreversible eye damage may result.
- Never use your optic to project an image of the Sun onto any surface. Internal heat build-up can damage the optic and any accessories attached to it.
- Never leave your optic unsupervised. Make sure an adult who is familiar with the correct operating procedures is with your optic at all times, especially when children are present.

Returns are incredibly simple. Please log into your account, find your item you wish to return and follow the prompts to make a return. If you do not have an account, click here to find your order and make a return.

You will receive a full refund when you return an item in its original manufacturer’s packaging, undamaged and unmarked. If the item you are returning is priced at less than $35, you will be charged a 15% restocking fee. Please note you will not be refunded any shipping charges.

If your order has been noticeably damaged in transit, we strongly recommend that you refuse delivery and notify us immediately. Claims for missing items or items damaged in transit must be made within 48 hours of delivery.
